twyk.me exists because the distance between "I have an idea" and "I'm holding it" is still too long. A full 3D editor in the browser, a community of models you can copy and change, and a printer at the end of it.
Everything you design exports as clean STL or 3MF, any time, no strings. If twyk disappeared tomorrow, your work wouldn't. Lock-in is not a business model we want.
Nobody's first design is great, and nobody learns from a file they can't open. Every shared model can be copied into your own models and changed.
We measure success in objects, not downloads. Everything about twyk, from mm-exact sizing to slicer-ready exports, is built so the thing on your screen becomes a thing on your desk.
twyk started as an answer to a simple frustration: browser 3D tools were either toys that couldn't make real parts, or CAD packages that took a semester to learn. So we built the editor we wanted — approachable in the first ten minutes, precise enough for parts that fit.
Every shape in twyk keeps its real dimensions, so you can keep refining a design to the millimetre. Shared to the Community, a design becomes something others can copy, change and print.
We're just getting started. If that sounds like your kind of thing, say hello.
The best introduction to twyk isn't this page. It's making something.
